Practicing the Hungarian Method of Horseback Archery has been an incredible journey for me.
Horseback archery is not just about hitting a target, it is about balance, focus, and discipline. Riding with confidence while aiming with precision requires harmony between the mind, body, and the horse. Every practice reminds me that true control begins with a trained mind.
Through this journey, I continue to challenge myself, learning patience, resilience, and the power of concentration. The Hungarian method teaches that mastery is not only physical but deeply mental when the mind is focused, the target becomes clear.
For me, this practice is about growth, strength, and pushing beyond limits. Every arrow I release is a reminder that with determination and faith in the process, no target is too far to reach.
Train the mind. Hit the target.

When you stand with a bow, the world becomes quiet. You cannot force the arrow to the target — you must first align your body, your mind, and your intention.

Remember to not comment about a person’s weight, hair, religious beliefs or ask about a person`s personal relationship status when you are in a business meeting or even in social settings.
I have had experienced a manager of a company once commented the way I wore my Hijab before and also had many experiences of people commenting on a person`s weight and treating that as a joke or something funny comment.
There are etiquettes in communicating at social and professional settings. How you conduct yourself externally is also a reflection of your inner values and mindset.
Let us start instilling the inner work with LOVE & RESPECT.

Horse riding and archery with Az Zahra pushed me a little outside my comfort zone.
Moving from the smaller practice arena to a bigger space and trying fast cantering felt completely different. The speed, the openness, and the rhythm made me nervous at first, but it was an important step in the learning process.
I am grateful for a coach who kept encouraging me to take on bigger challenges. It reminded me that progress often begins where fear shows up, and confidence is built one stride at a time.
